This online course has been designed to provide learners with the valuable skills and knowledge required to competently carry out their roles and responsibilities relating to safeguarding.

 

This training is ideal for those who have a responsibility for safeguarding and protecting in environments such as:

This 2 hour course covers all of the key aspects of safeguarding, such as current guidelines & legislation, different forms of abuse and responding to disclosure and suspected abuse.

QA Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) 

The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Adults at Risk (RQF) is Ofqual regulated and is a nationally recognised qualification designed to provide learners with the valuable skills & knowledge required to competently carry out their roles & responsibilities relating to safeguarding.

 

This training is ideal for those who have a responsibility for safeguarding and protecting in environments such as:

  • The NHS,
  • Education,
  • Healthcare,
  • Social services
  • Those who work in voluntary or unpaid positions,

 

This 1/2 day qualification covers all of the key aspects of safeguarding, such as current guidelines and legislation, different forms of abuse and responding to disclosure and suspected abuse.

FAA Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults

The L3 award is Ofqual regulated and is a nationally recognised qualification designed to provide learners with the valuable skills & knowledge required to competently carry out  their roles & responsibilities relating to safeguarding and supervise their staff accordingly. The course will give learners the tools and knowledge to make a difference to a vulnerable person’s life. It will also let the practitioner reporting the abuse know how they can safeguard themselves in every day work, while seeking help and reporting the incident identified.

 

Duration: Minimum of 7 hours contact time in the classroom

 

A range of subjects is covered including: 

  • Safeguarding legislation and guidance
  • Indicators of abuse or neglect
  • Making judgements
  • Communication
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Sharing of information
  • Dealing with and reporting of  allegations and complaints

Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded an Ofqual national Level 3 Award.

 

Learners must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon course commencement.
