Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults Awareness course

This training is ideal for those who have a responsibility for safeguarding and protecting in environments such as:

 

  • The NHS,
  • Education,
  • Healthcare,
  • Social services
  • Voluntary or unpaid positions,

 

This 2 hour course covers all of the key aspects of safeguarding, such as current guidelines & legislation, different forms of abuse and responding to disclosure and suspected abuse.

Trainer led - Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People & Adults at Risk, Awareness course

The course has been designed to provide learners with the valuable skills and knowledge required to competently carry out their roles and responsibilities relating to safeguarding.

 

This training is ideal for those who have a responsibility for safeguarding and protecting in environments such as:

  • The NHS,
  • Education,
  • Healthcare,
  • Social services
  • Those who work in voluntary or unpaid positions,

 

This 1/2 day course covers all of the key aspects of safeguarding, such as current guidelines and legislation, different forms of abuse and responding to disclosure and suspected abuse.

 

Up to 20 delegates £530 + vat

FAA Level 1 Award in Awareness of Safeguarding 

The Level 1 Award in Awareness of Safeguarding is Ofqual regulated and is a nationally recognised qualification designed to provide learners with the valuable skills & knowledge required to competently carry out their roles & responsibilities relating to safeguarding.

 

This training is ideal for those who have a responsibility for safeguarding and protecting in environments such as:

  • Activity groups
  • The NHS,
  • Education,
  • Healthcare,
  • Social services
  • Those who work in voluntary or unpaid positions,

 

This 4 hour qualification covers all of the key aspects of safeguarding, such as current guidelines and legislation, different forms of abuse and responding to disclosure and suspected abuse.

 

Up to 12 delegates £690 + vat

 

FAA Level 3 Award in Principles of Safeguarding & Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults

The L3 award is Ofqual regulated and is a nationally recognised qualification designed to provide learners with the valuable skills & knowledge required to competently carry out  their roles & responsibilities relating to safeguarding and supervise their staff accordingly.

 

The course will give learners the tools and knowledge to make a difference to a vulnerable person’s life. It will also let the practitioner reporting the abuse know how they can safeguard themselves in every day work, while seeking help and reporting the incident identified.

 

Duration: Minimum of 7 hours contact time in the classroom

 

Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded an Ofqual national Level 3 Award.

 

Learners must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon course commencement.
