Football & Event Steward Physical Intervention, Control & Restraint Training
Intelligensa provide Football Steward & Event staff with Physical Intervention, Conflict Management & Restraint Equipment training. This training is ideal for staff who experience aggression, challenging behaviour & conflict in the workplace when dealing with the public.
Delivered at your venue, we can train staff to safely hold those at risk of harming themselves or others.
We will teach staff to spot and diffuse conflict before it escalates.
Outstanding and affordable, our training is available 7 days a week, including evenings. Small groups welcomed.

Football and Event Steward Physical Intervention
This can be delivered as a half day or a full day course and will teach your stewards Physical Intervention skills allowing them to Prevent & Manage Violence & Aggression (PMVA) within the stadium or venue.
Conflict Management
We offer a range of Conflict Management courses that teach why some service users exhibit challenging behaviour, how to recognise it and some simple but effective methods to de-escalate the conflict. Can be combined with a half day Physical Intervention Skills Course.
Restraint Equipment
We provide training in the safe and effective use of restraint equipment, including handcuffs and soft restraints. This course is only available to staff that have or are completing a Physical Intervention course.
We teach in compliance with Green Guide, NHS and DfE guidance.
All training is delivered with a constant emphasis on restraint reduction and preventative strategies. We will work with your team to teach Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Managing Challenging Behaviour, De-escalation, Breakaway Techniques, and how to use Restrictive Physical Interventions (restraint techniques) to safely hold people at risk of harming themselves or others.
We are certified trainers for the BILD ACT Restraint Reduction Network (RRN).
All our staff hold teaching and subject specific qualifications. We are affiliated to, licensed by and quality assured by the National Federation for Personal Safety (NFPS). We are an awarding body with the FAA delivering Ofqual regulated Qualifications and are members of the Institute of Conflict Management (ICM).
